Guatemala is home to some of the finest cane distillates in the world. This is thanks to Ron Botran, ambassadors of Guatemalan rum and masters of dynamic ageing. When creating their Prestige edition, the challenge was not only to represent this country for the most demanding palates but to do so by explaining why this rum would be unlike any other.

Guatemala hides some of the world's best sugar cane spirits. This excellence is driven by Ron Botran, the premier ambassadors of Guatemalan rum and the dynamic ageing process. In developing their Prestige edition, the objective was to showcase the nation to connoisseurs while articulating the unique qualities that set this liquid apart.

With the naming established, we developed a graphic symbol to be screen-printed in gold as the centrepiece of the bottle: an infinity sign from which a bird, echoing natural and folkloric motifs, takes flight. In harmony with the horizontal figure-eight of the infinity symbol and the number of casks used, the bottle features an octagonal base. The design is crowned by a “jewel-cap” that celebrates the ageing achievement. On the neck of the bottle, the bird symbol is reinforced by a pattern inspired by the concept of infinity. Finally, the secondary packaging, sharing the same geometry but in larger proportions, acts as a glorifying stage. It celebrates the brand’s signature colour (a tone symbolising Guatemala’s diversity) adorned with gold stamping that pays homage to local craftsmanship and expertise. As a finishing touch, the closure serves as a reminder of Infinito’s eight casks and the dynamic ageing process that has always been Botran’s hallmark.
