La Maxia del Atlántico Limited Edition Nº2 pays tribute to the Atlantic's gastronomic bounty, bringing it to life through illustrations on Nordés' iconic bottle.
Objective
Nordés wanted to keep the magic alive with its La Maxia del Atlántico limited edition series and challenged us to discover a fresh creative direction with rich visual potential, built around the iconic starlings from their bottle.
Approach
Following a creative exploration, we landed on something specific yet deeply connected to Galicia, and closely tied to the consumption experience itself: Atlantic gastronomy through the treasures of the sea.
This approach not only delivers highly recognizable and striking visual motifs but also deepens Nordés' bond with its territory in a way that's both literal and metaphorical. The geometric and organic forms of mollusks and crustaceans allow us to speak of something that is not only magical but truly desirable: an authentic gastronomic and visual treasure.
Solution
Maintaining brand coherence with both La Maxia del Atlántico Limited Edition Nº1 and the original Nordés bottle, we used neo-pointillist illustration with the starlings to bring the marine gastronomic motifs to life.
Embossed varnish gives the illustrations depth and presence while evoking the tactile sensation of mollusk shells. Finally, screen printing with iridescent ink adds shimmer to specific areas of the illustrations, reinforcing the concept of the Atlantic's gastronomic treasure that inspired this limited edition.
