Pangea evolves to make its essence official: leading space propulsion with innovation, precision and ambition. A new chapter that drives everything that lies ahead.
Objective
At a time when the space industry was caught between the traditional Old Space model and the disruption of New Space, Pangea needed to consolidate an identity capable of reflecting its true leadership. The objective was to formalise what had always been at its core: absolute specialisation in propulsion, and to position the company as a global benchmark in efficient, competitive and sustainable engines for the next generation of missions.
Approach
The project unfolded through a process of immersion, analysis and co-creation with internal teams. We defined a clear brand platform to connect technological ambition with an inspiring and rigorous narrative. We aligned vision, culture and value proposition, identifying distinctive territories: disruptive innovation, agile mindset, technical expertise and international cooperation — articulating a coherent discourse for key audiences within the aerospace ecosystem.
Solution
The result was the launch of Pangea Propulsion: more than a change of name or visual identity, a reaffirmation of purpose. We brought precision through the new descriptor (from Pangea Aerospace to Pangea Propulsion), reinforcing its core business and differentiating it from “Launchers”. We redesigned the visual identity to project a company that is young and bold, yet expert and dependable — ready to turn rocket science into rocket business and to lead the future of European space propulsion.
The core objective of the identity was to craft the visual language of propulsion, more professional, clean, elegant and technical: minimalist, versatile assets; rational, technological typefaces; a symbol representing the engine in combustion; colours capturing methane burn and atmospheric space, with moving, floating and latent gradients. The motion system (propulsion, docking, hyper jump, decoding) was key, alongside a generative tool enabling controlled and flexible halo compositions. The quality and meticulousness of the product renders transformed them into artistic and iconic pieces.

A visual system in constant motion
We developed a generative tool capable of creating a unique visual language inspired by metal combustion. Through visuals that evoke a futuristic, ethereal, and space aesthetic, we built a flexible and versatile system. The result is an identity that mutates and adapts across any medium without losing its brand consistency or visual coherence.
The engine as a design piece
Through detailed textures and expressive lighting, we elevated the product image from a purely technical element to an aspirational design piece. By replacing photography with a CGI-based visual system, Pangea gains a scalable and adaptable tool that evolves alongside its technological advancements, ensuring a representation of its innovation that is always up to date.
The language of propulsion
We designed a motion system inspired by propulsion, which acts as the driving force behind every layer of the visual identity. Movement is defined through four key behaviours: the force of propulsion, the precise docking of components, the dynamism of the hyper jump, and a decoding effect in the typographic treatment, where text appears as technological code. These transitions emulate the assembly of aerospace structures, achieving dynamism and ensuring that every digital touchpoint breathes the energy and power of propulsion.
A journey through merchandising
We adapted the visual identity to merchandising, drawing inspiration from the codes and aesthetics of the aerospace industry to create a complete line of collectible items. This allows the brand to extend its presence across new touchpoints while connecting with both professionals and enthusiasts within the aerospace sector.
