We collaborated with Gallina Blanca to refresh its visual identity and packaging design, modernising the brand while preserving its heritage.
Challenge
Since 1937, Gallina Blanca has been a staple in Spanish kitchens for its ability to facilitate the preparation of homemade recipes. After more than 80 years without major updates to its visual identity, a refresh was needed to maintain its leadership and resonate with today's consumers. The goal was to reflect the new positioning and essence of El sabor de casa in the pack design, evolve the brand identity and reorganise the portfolio architecture to improve navigability, consistency and brand recognition across all core family products and sub-brands.
Approach
We redefined Gallina Blanca's visual assets, including the logo, typography, color palette, and photographic style, to better express the "taste of home" and reinforce its positioning. Yellow and blue were refreshed for brightness and naturalness, while the brand block was softened and applied consistently to improve recognition.
A custom typography, Gallina Blanca Sans, inspired by the shape of an egg, was introduced to improve legibility and balance tradition with freshness. The updated photographic style incorporates homely elements and natural imperfections to emphasize authenticity and quality.
The new brand identity revitalizes product families like Avecrem and Sopinstant by simplifying illustrations and standardizing packaging with consistent typography, coding, and iconography, highlighting the "taste of home".

This comprehensive rebranding initiative has effectively modernized Gallina Blanca while honoring its heritage. By refining the visual identity, standardizing packaging across product lines, and emphasizing the essence of the "taste of home," we have deepened the brand’s connection with contemporary consumers. This cohesive transformation enhances brand recognition, ensuring that Gallina Blanca remains a trusted kitchen staple for future generations.
